Hello there! It's so nice to meet you. I'm Meghan, and I joined the team at Matt Brown State Farm in La Vernia back in August of 2020. Helping people is my passion, and I prioritize our customers' needs above all else.
As a Multiple Line Account Manager, I have the privilege of writing and servicing various lines of insurance offered by State Farm. This includes Auto, Home, and Life & Health policies. I take great pride in ensuring that our customers have the coverage they need to protect what matters most to them.
Originally from Durango, Colorado, my family and I made the move to the greater La Vernia area in 2019. I have an amazing husband and two wonderful children, and spending quality time with them is one of my greatest joys. Whether it's taking a mini vacation to the coast or simply playing catch in the back yard, family time is always cherished.
The transition from a smaller community to La Vernia has been wonderful for us. We've enjoyed acclimating to the same friendly and welcoming atmosphere here. Assisting our community members with their insurance needs brings me great satisfaction, and I'm committed to continuing to serve and support our community.

Hello! I'm Serena Jury, thrilled to be a part of the energetic team at Matt Brown State Farm. In just a month, I've become completely engaged with the team, benefiting from their support and responsiveness during my training period. With nearly three years of experience as a licensed team member, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. Before venturing into insurance, I spent six rewarding years as a preschool teacher.
Away from work, I'm happily married to my husband John for over 22 years. Together, we embrace the joys and challenges of raising two teenagers and our beloved Labrador/Great Dane mix, Brooks. Though we've moved around the country for my husband's job for the last 12 years, our family calls Lexington, Kentucky home with La Vernia being our base for the last two.
Beyond my professional and family commitments, I find joy in cheering on my kids at their sporting events, passionately supporting the Kentucky Wildcats, lending a hand at Grace Bible Church through volunteering, and savoring quality time with my loved ones.
